Colorful San Francisco Outer Sunset Engagement: Camille & Sven
This colorful San Francisco Outer Sunset engagement shoot explores colorful buildings and murals in my neighborhood. I knew I wanted to create a shoot that was very colorful and I am lucky enough to live in a very color place, so I decided to work with my surroundings. We used walls of homes, a restaurant and an apartment building–there were so many places along my usual routes that I hadn’t noticed until I started looking. Thank you so Camille and Sven for helping me execute this idea!
This Piet Mondrian inspired house is right off the Great Highway. Even though it’s mostly white, I love the color pops and graphic lines.
The photos above were taken at Hook Fish Co., one my favorite restaurants in the area. They serve sustainable seafood and their fish tacos are BOMB! Below is an apartment building that I knew I had to incorporate into the shoot for it’s arched doorways and unique wall texture.
This blue photo is mayyybe my favorite of the whole set! They were starting to feel very comfortable at this point and goofing off more, which is my favorite phase of a photo shoot.
I even got them to dance!
