What’s is like to work with us though?
Working With Us
I like to keep things simple: you be yourselves and I’ll give you direction when necessary. Not sure what to do with your hands? I got you.
It is of the utmost importance that working with us feels easy, simple and fun. We know that being photographed can be a little nervy, but we have made it our literal business to photograph people and make them look great.
In addition to helping you look great, we want you to feel it too. We are here for you as you plan your wedding as a resource and a friendly voice of support. We’re here to bounce ideas off of, and to tell you that that tradition you don’t want to do–you don’t have to do it! It also brings us great joy to connect you with our industry peers, so please let us know what you’re looking for–we may know the perfect person for the job.
What your photography style?
My goal is to show what your wedding day felt like through a combination candid pictures and personality-driven portraits. My background in photojournalism plays a large part in my style, but I also love getting creative and making beautiful and special portraits of couples.
We love your candid style but would like to have some portraits of our family and bridal party. Is that something you do?
Yes! I always set aside specific time to photograph family and bridal party pictures. We will make a plan before the wedding day to make sure there's enough time in the overall timeline and the photography coverage time. I would describe my posed photography style as relaxed and casual. I always give direction and make conversation (or bad jokes) to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
How many pictures will we receive?
You will receive the best pictures from your day, which ranges from 75 to 100 pictures per hour of coverage. All the pictures will be edited and high-resolution so you can print them to your heart’s delight.
Do you travel?
Heck yes! I live in San Francisco and photograph weddings all over the Bay Area. Travel is included within 100 miles or 1.5 hours, after which I may require an overnight stay at a hotel. I’m more than happy to travel outside of Northern California and my passport is up to date!
What do you require to book a date?
I require a signed contract and a non-refundable $2000 retainer.
